Nebraska Early Childhood Collaborative The Nebraska Early Childhood Collaborative (NECC) was established in 2014 as a strategic initiative of the Buffet Early Childhood Fund.

The Nebraska Early Childhood Collaborative (NECC) is a statewide organization that supports child care business owners and families with young children by providing services that strengthen early learning across Nebraska. For generations, Head Start has helped children begin school ready to learn while giving families opportunities to build toward their own goals. Today, Head Start alumni are educators, business owners, health professionals, public servants, parents, and community leaders.

This Head Start Awareness Month, we’re recognizing the teachers, family service professionals, bus drivers, health staff, cooks, administrators, volunteers, and so many others who show up for children and families every day.

Our Early Head Start-Child Care Partnership staff work alongside families to:
• Educate families about positive parenting and family well-being practices.
• Help families create goals focused on positive parenting and family well-being.
• Support families in reaching their goals.
• Connect families to community resources.
