๐Ÿš€ Attention educators and youth organizations!

The ARISS - Amateur Radio on the International Space Station program is seeking applications for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for students to speak directly with astronauts aboard the International Space Station next school year.

This program inspires students to explore careers in STEM through the lenses of space communication. Art and creative expression are also influenced by an ARISS contact as art can help communicate the experience of space travel and the unique qualities of Earth.

The ARISS program is managed and was created by an international consortium of amateur radio organizations and space agencies, including NASA.

Applications are due May 22 for this competitive program, so donโ€™t wait!

The Omaha STEM Ecosystem is looking for its next Director, a relationship-building, strategic leader who can turn partnerships into action.

In this role, you'll serve as the primary external representative of OSE, connecting industry, education, nonprofits and civic partners to grow Omaha's STEM workforce. Key responsibilities include leading citywide STEM initiatives, overseeing grant development and fundraising, managing ecosystem communications and operationalizing our strategic plan.

We're looking for someone with 5+ years of experience in cross-sector partnerships, community leadership, or philanthropy โ€” and a proven ability to convert relationships into funded outcomes.

Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation of innovators? A PhD candidate in Engineering Education at Purdue Engineering wants to hear from you.

Researchers are conducting a dissertation study exploring how volunteers in engineering and computer science youth programs access organizational resources, curricular support and program structures. Your insights could shape the future of STEM volunteerism nationwide.

You may be eligible to participate if you:
โœ… Have volunteered (or currently volunteer) with an engineering or computer science-focused youth program.
โœ… Are 18 years of age or older.
โœ… Live or have lived in the U.S. during your time volunteering.
โœ… Work directly with youth OR develop youth programming for your organization.

Participation is voluntary, but your perspective is invaluable! Help advance research that supports STEM volunteers and the youth programs that depend on them.

UNO College of Arts and Sciences will host an Evening of Math & Art featuring Henry Segerman, professor at Oklahoma State University and author of "Visualizing Mathematics with 3D Printing."

Professor Segerman will transform abstract math concepts into stunning 3D sculptures, visual art and virtual reality experiences.
