Omaha Permaculture Omaha Permaculture is a nonprofit 501c3 that fosters community through sustainable land stewardship.

Omaha Permaculture is a nonprofit organization whose main goals are:
1) Beautifying unused city land with edible plants and flowers
2) Providing access to affordable, nutritious food for lower-income residents in the Omaha area
3) Saving seeds (especially native varieties) and propagating plants to create free-forage areas throughout Omaha and surrounding areas
4) Creating a replicable model for growing food crops with minimal input and minimal labor (aka permaculture)

Since the pandemic began, we have been delivering fresh, washed, organic eggs to Open Pantry and once a month. This month, we delivered over 800 eggs to our great partners.

Thanks to our great garden partners at we harvested and delivered our first major haul of 100lbs of organic fresh greens to TableGrace Cafe. All of these greens: mostly collards and mustards, then some kohlrabi, arugula, kale, chives and parsley are delivered to where their creative kitchen staff makes very tasty food for homeless people.

We love our partners doing great work in the community.

Now as the Maya Economic Development Corporation, we are honored to help TG and BMU feed our poor people here in Omaha with fresh, nutritious food.
