Meet Josh Dotzler, CEO of Abide Omaha and former Division I athlete at Creighton University.

This October, Josh is one of five leaders climbing Mount Kilimanjaro to help fund five new Lighthouses in North Omaha.

A Lighthouse is a place where relationships are built, hope is restored, and lives are transformed.

Growing up in North Omaha, Josh saw firsthand how a lack of opportunity can impact individuals, families, and entire neighborhoods.

“I climb because I believe every person deserves every opportunity to reach their full God-given potential.”

Every step up the mountain is a step toward building safer neighborhoods, stronger families, and emerging leaders.

Meet the Climber: Josh

On the court, they called him point guard. Off the court, he’s known as the purpose point guard.

Josh Dotzler is CEO of Abide and the son of the founders who started this ministry 37 years ago. A former Division I point guard at Creighton, Josh grew up in North Omaha and saw firsthand what it looks like to grow up without opportunity.

“I climb so that every person can have every opportunity to reach their full, God-given potential.”

This October, Josh is one of five leaders climbing Mount Kilimanjaro to help fund five new Lighthouse homes in North Omaha.

Five leaders. One purpose. Every step changes lives.

Join Josh in making an impact. Give, serve or share his climb.
