The impact of generosity often begins with a simple question: “How can I help?”
Earlier this school year, a donor approached the Millard Public Schools Foundation with a desire to support students at Hitchcock Elementary. Working closely with the school, we identified a meaningful opportunity: the Recorder Karate curriculum, a program that helps 4th-grade students build musical skills, confidence, and a love of learning through music.
Thanks to this generous gift, Hitchcock students were able to participate in the program, earning “karate belts” as they mastered new recorder skills and progressed through increasingly challenging songs. Recently, the school shared these photos and a heartfelt thank-you, showing the joy and pride students experienced along the way.
