The final numbers for Marchi Gras 2016 are in! Due to a number of factors, our attendance numbers were way down from previous years, and when you combine that with the increased costs of bringing in the high quality national acts that we did, it just doesn't come out as well in the end. Regardless, we are still VERY proud to announce that we raised $5259.00 for The Sunshine Kids Foundation, which brings our total raised for this amazing organization to over $96,000!!!
I want to thank all of our dedicated volunteers for all of the hours you put in and our amazing local bands Achilles Last Band - Zeppelin Tribute Omaha, CryTough PoisonTribute, Fooey: A Foo Fighters Tribute, Bucka Ruse, Jason Earl Band, Skretta etc, The Personics & DJ Jack for donating your time and incredible talents! Thank you to our awesome host venues of Bushwackers Saloon -Ralston & Chrome Lounge, our media friends 101.9 the Keg & The Wolf 933, who helped promote Marchi Gras, and our photographer DP Images who worked both nights to capture the memories for everyone! Thank you to our generous sponsors for donating your time and money to a cause that we all believe in, all of you who either attended or sent a donation, and most importantly, the Sunshine Kids Foundation for all you do to give these kids who are battling cancer the childhood memories that they deserve!
