Scandinavian Folk Dancers of Omaha The Scandinavian Folk Dancers of Omaha have been dancing and performing Nordic dances since 1976.

A lively group of dancers meeting every week to practise Scandinavian dances, enjoy each other's company and have fun!

Come and join us for Scandinavian Dancing tomorrow night, June 16, 2026. We meet almost every Tuesday evening at Morning Star Lutheran Church, 331 S 85th Ave, Omaha, Ne. Our group was founded in 1976 to celebrate our Scandinavian heritage, but even if you don't have Scandinavian heritage you are still welcome! And the dancing is fun for all ages - our youngest dancer is just 3! We have two Midsummer performances in June right here in Omaha. Also our group is turning 50 this year, so we will be having a Gala Dance party in July. So this is a great time to join us!

Tivoli 2026! We had a great time dancing at Tivoli Fest in Elk Horn, IA on Memorial Day weekend. We have so much fun and it brings joy to our lives to dance with each other! We practise almost every Tuesday at Morning Star Lutheran Church in Omaha, NE. Come and join us and see how rewarding it can be to dance! As you can see, we start 'em pretty young!😄
