Join us Saturday, June 27th, for one of Harvey Oaks’ favorite traditions—the Annual Independence Day Celebration! 🇺🇸

Here’s what’s happening:

🚲 Children’s Patriotic Parade
🕥 Check-in begins at 10:30 AM at 152nd & Arbor
🕚 Parade starts at 11:00 AM
Decorate your bikes, scooters, wagons, or strollers in red, white, and blue and join the fun! Neighbors are encouraged to line 152nd Street and 151st Street around the Greenway to cheer on our young patriots. Snacks will be provided for the children after the parade. 🎉

🌮 Food Trucks at North Park
Come hungry! Grab dinner from a variety of local food trucks and spend the day enjoying the community. It’s the perfect excuse to bring a lawn chair, catch up with neighbors, and make a day of it.

🎇 Fireworks at Dusk
As the sun goes down, head to North Park for the grand finale as our annual fireworks show lights up the Harvey Oaks sky!

Harvey Oaks, help us give a HUGE welcome and round of applause to Nathan, David, and Sakari! 👏💚

These three incredible young men have stepped up to take on the 50 Yard Challenge, committing their time and energy to mow 50 lawns FREE of charge for elderly residents, individuals with disabilities, single parents, and veterans in our community.

It’s inspiring to see young leaders making such a positive impact right here in our neighborhood. Their willingness to serve others is a reminder of what makes our community so special.

53% Funded — Let’s Finish Strong Before June 27!🎆

Our annual Harvey Oaks Fireworks Show is scheduled for Saturday, June 27th, and we can’t wait to celebrate with all of our neighbors!

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we’ve reached 53% of our fundraising goal. That’s amazing progress, but we still have a little less than half to go before we can fully fund this year’s show.

Meet Lacey!!!

My name is Lacey Ruffino, and my family and I have proudly called Harvey Oaks home for the past eight years. My husband, Nate, and I have two beautiful daughters, and we absolutely love raising our family in this neighborhood.

I work as a part-time teacher and also help out at our family restaurant, Boyd & Charlie’s BBQ in Elkhorn. I’m honored to serve on the Harvey Oaks Homeowners Association Board and enjoy helping make our neighborhood an even better place to live.

I currently oversee two of our favorite community traditions; the Annual Garage Sales and the Holiday Party. But I’m always happy to lend a hand with other events and projects throughout the year. Building connections and creating opportunities for neighbors to come together is something I truly enjoy!

Harvey Oaks has been an incredible place to raise our family, and one of the biggest reasons is the amazing people who live here. We truly have the best neighbors, and I’m grateful to be part of such a welcoming and supportive community.

A wallet was found near the bridge in the park. The last name Hunter appears on some of the cards inside, but there is no ID or driver’s license included.

Due to unforeseen circumstances… the pulled pork has officially been traded in for burgers. 🌭❌🍔✅
