In July - Mosaic Rejoicing Spirits had the incredible privilege of witnessing history as our partners at Building a Caring Community (BCC) launched the very first international Rejoicing Spirits service in Tanzania!

Making the occasion even more special, Susan, the founder of Rejoicing Spirits, along with her longtime friend and Rejoicing Spirits supporter, Tammy, were present to help lead this historic first service. Seeing their vision come to life across the internationally was truly inspiring.

Twenty-three years ago, a program known as Rejoicing Spirits was created in the US to foster worship services that are welcoming, accessible, and inclusive of people of all abilities.

Rejoicing Spirits creates opportunities for participants to build meaningful relationships, share their unique gifts and passions.

This celebration like all Rejoicing Spirits celebrations are a beautiful reminder of what is possible when people come together in faith, inclusion, and community.

At Mosaic, one of our core values is faithfulness. We honor our legacy by staying grounded in what matters and doing the right thing even when no one’s looking. Today, we honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. as we continue his work through our mission to relentlessly pursue opportunities that empower people – all people.
