ENOA Eastern Nebraska Office on Aging
Our Mission: To help older Nebraskans live independently and remain for as long as possible in their own homes.

As one of 622 area agencies on aging created by Congress under the Older Americans Act, the Eastern Nebraska Office on Aging serves families in Douglas, Sarpy, Dodge, Cass, and Washington counties. 's role is to ensure that the older adults within its region have access to a continuum of services that help them to remain active, independent, and in their own homes for as long as possible. ENOA serves as a gateway to aging services that already exist in the community and also operates its own programs that fill previously unmet needs in the five-county area. Through our nutrition programs, case management services, employment counseling, volunteer opportunities, and community services, ENOA's goal is to enhance the lives of the 85,500 older Nebraskans who live within our service area.

Our hearts are deeply heavy today as we join the world in mourning the loss of the legendary Dolly Parton.

While her roots were in country, her artistry knew no bounds. She was a true force, a legendary storyteller, and a champion of the human spirit. Her work transcended genres, a testament to her unique, powerful, and utterly authentic voice.

We, at ENOA, will forever hold her as an inspiration for the transformative power of art and song. Her light, her humor, and her kindness will shine on.

Rest in peace, Dolly. 🦋

We missed last week, but we’re back this week with another resourceful “What’s Happening Wednesday!” 🎉

ENOA Employee retention is definitely a thing! 💙

Out of our 130 amazing staff members, 53 have been with the agency for 5+ years, and 27 have dedicated more than 10 years of service.

Since 2021, we've celebrated the retirement of 7 Division Directors whose combined service totaled an incredible 223 years! 👏

And the legacy continues. Our current Administration team and Division Directors bring 156 years of combined experience to the table. These numbers tell a story of commitment, passion, and people who believe in our mission. We're grateful for every employee who chooses to build their career with us and make a difference every day. ❤️
