Prisons try to cut people off from the world. They take people away from their families, their friends, and their communities, then expect the rest of us to forget they are still here. Black & Pink National refuses to let that happen. We write letters. We support people coming home. We advocate when people inside are being ignored, targeted, or denied care.

That work does not happen without resources. Your donation helps us reach system impacted LGBTQIA+ people, Black and Brown TGNC people, people living with HIV, and our people inside prisons and jails with connection, advocacy, and support.

We need people to give because our people inside need us to keep showing up. Donate today at www.blackandpink.org/donate or scan the QR code

Juneteenth is about freedom. Real freedom. Not the kind that comes with exceptions, fine print, or conditions around who gets to be fully seen.

For Black & Pink, that freedom has to include Black trans people, Black q***r people, and everyone still surviving behind prison walls. We mean Black trans people walking out of prisons and into communities ready to receive them. We mean LGBTQIA+ people inside not being punished for who they are. We mean remembering that a holiday does not mean the work is done.

Black freedom includes trans freedom. Today, we celebrate that truth and recommit to the work of making freedom reach every wall, every cell, and every person still waiting for it.

“I’m living proof that when you come home, you can make it.”

After nearly 21 years inside, they came home with degrees, determination, and something even more powerful. Support.

Black and Pink did not just offer resources. We offer reminders that survival is possible. That freedom is more than release. That people coming home deserve more than a second chance. They deserve a real one.

From getting stable housing to building a thriving career, this is what it looks like when we invest in people instead of punishment.

This person didn't have anywhere to go. That's not an exaggeration. That's what they said.

Opportunity Campus became their home when they had no other options. And now they're here, stable, and hoping that more people get the same chance they did.

That's what Black & Pink actually does. Not a program on paper. Not a promise. We provide a real place with real people in it who had nowhere to go and now do. That's what your support makes possible, and that's exactly what Love Out Loud, Give Out Loud is about.

We are raising $10,000 to keep doing this work. Because there are more people out there who need exactly what this person found. Give today at www.blackandpink.org/donate.

This is what it looks like when our community gets to just exist. No guards, no rules about how you're allowed to be, no system telling you your identity is a problem. Just joy, just you, just free.

That's what Black & Pink is fighting for. Not just survival, not just getting out, but a life on the other side that actually feels like living. LGBTQIA+ people who are incarcerated deserve to see themselves in images like this and know that someone is working to get them there.

We're raising $10,000 to make that work possible. Letters, resources, advocacy, reentry support. All of it runs on funding, and all of it matters.

We're at $3,206 out of our $10,000 goal and we need you to help us get there.

That money goes directly to supporting LGBTQIA+ people who are locked up right now. People who are being denied healthcare, who don't have anyone writing them back, who are trying to figure out where they're going to live when they get out. This is not abstract. This is real, and it's happening every day.

We've raised almost a third of what we need. That means two thirds is still out there, and Pride month is the time to put your money where your values are. If you've been thinking about it, stop thinking and give. If you already gave, share this post and get someone else to do the same.

$10,000 is the goal. $3,206 is where we are. Help us close that gap. Give today.

Right now there are LGBTQIA+ people sitting in cells who haven't gotten a letter, a visit, or a single sign that someone out here is fighting for them. That's the gap we exist to close, and it takes money to do it. Not symbolic money. Real money that pays for advocacy, that builds reentry plans, that funds the work of telling people inside they matter and proving it.

We're trying to raise $10,000 for this campaign. That number isn't random, it's what it actually costs to keep showing up. Every dollar you give is someone inside getting support they wouldn't get otherwise.

If you've ever said you care about q***r and trans people, about people living with HIV, about anyone the system has tried to throw away, this is the moment that turns that into something real. Give now at blackandpink.org/donate.

Ten years ago today, 49 people were murdered at Pulse nightclub in Orlando. Most of them
were Latine. Most of them were q***r. They were dancing, celebrating, and existing in one of
the few spaces built for them to feel safe. That safety was taken from them.

Today we remember their names, their lives, and the families and communities who have
carried this loss for ten years. We also hold the truth that violence against LGBTQIA+ people,
especially Black, Brown, and Latine q***r and trans people, did not begin or end at Pulse.

At Black & Pink National, remembrance is not separate from our work. It is part of it. We fight for
a world where q***r and trans people are safe, not just in nightclubs and not just on days when
the cameras are watching, but everywhere, including behind prison walls.

Today we hold space for grief, for anger, and for the people we lost. Tomorrow, and every day
after, we keep fighting so this does not happen again.
