June is National Homeownership Month, but the ability to own a home has not historically been a level playing field.
To bridge the gap between past housing discrimination and modern wealth-building, Family Housing Advisory Services (FHAS) partnered with the North Omaha Legacy Tour to host a specialized Redlining Tour for current and prospective homeowners.
This community event connected the dots between 1930s federal housing maps and today's homeownership disparities. After the tour, local non-profit developers joined us to share updates on current and upcoming housing developments.
