At the Hope Lodge, we understand that undergoing treatment for cancer can be both financially and emotionally overwhelming.

American Cancer Society's Hope Lodge Omaha Nebraska is free lodging available to cancer patients and their caregiver, traveling to Omaha for cancer treatment, in a nurturing, home like environment. For many, treatment at Omaha medical centers provides the greatest hope, but requires that they are far from home, adding the additional burden of travel and lodging expenses. That is why the American Cancer Society's Hope Lodge Omaha Nebraska offers lodging at no cost for adult cancer patients being treated in the Omaha area. Getting emotional and social support from other survivors can be as important as getting the proper medical care. At the Hope Lodge, patients live with other people going through similar experiences, and are supported by caring staff and volunteers. The nurturing, comfortable environment at Hope Lodge allows patients to focus on what is most important - fighting cancer.

🎄 Help Make the Holidays Brighter for Our Guests 🎄

During the holiday season, many of our guests are away from home while receiving medical treatment. One meaningful way to show support is by providing a home-cooked meal for the families staying with us.

We are looking for individuals, families, church groups, businesses, and community organizations who would be willing to prepare and serve a meal during the holidays. Your generosity helps create comfort, connection, and a sense of home during what can be a difficult time.

Whether you're preparing a homemade dinner, organizing a group meal, or donating your time, you help create a welcoming home-away-from-home for families during some of their most challenging moments.

As we continue our Golden Ladle Award competition, we'd like to recognize our current leaders in each category!

The race is still on, and every meal served helps support our guests while earning points toward the coveted Golden Ladle Award!
