💛🎗️ September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month 🎗️💛

Today, as we begin Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, we proudly wear the gold ribbon in honor of the courageous children and families facing a cancer diagnosis. 💛

At Hope Lodge Omaha, we have the privilege of welcoming guests as young as 12 years old who are traveling for lifesaving cancer treatment. While no child should have to face cancer, we're committed to ensuring they and their caregivers have a safe, supportive place to stay while focusing on what matters most... healing. 🏠❤️

This month, we stand with every child in treatment, every survivor, and every family navigating the challenges of cancer. Their courage, resilience, and hope inspire us every day and remind us why we're committed to ensuring that no family faces cancer alone. 💛🎗️

🐾🎨 There is always something special happening at Hope Lodge!

From spending time with our furry friend Peep during Pet Therapy to getting creative at our Arts & Crafts activities, these moments bring comfort, connection, and a little extra joy to our guests during their cancer journey.

We're also looking for volunteers who want to make a difference by hosting an Empower Event. Whether you share a hobby, lead a wellness activity, teach a skill, or simply bring people together, your time and talents can help create meaningful experiences for our guests.

Simple items can have a big impact. We are currently seeking donations of paper towels and laundry pods to help meet the daily needs of our guests and facility. Paper towels are essential for us to wipe down all our surfaces with our sanitizing solution to keep the germs away!
