This golf tournament is in honor of our son, Sailor who we lost to su***de last year at the age of 16. This fundraising event will help us continue our mission of bringing su***de awareness to our community and ending mental health stigmas in addition to supporting LGBTQ+ youth.

Some of the things our non profit has done in just it’s first year is:
Sponsoring QPR su***de prevention trainings, scholarships for students interested in a career that will positively impact mental health, sponsoring the first ever mental health awareness event and walk in Council Bluffs, and sponsoring a support group for youth struggling with mental health and the fidget bags for coping strategies. We hope to continue to do all of this and more in the coming years.

This golf tournament will be a fun way to help us and others. There will be games at the holes, 2 meals and a snack provided, raffle items, pin prizes and an auction-plus an awesome goody bag worth over $80. We would love to have you there. Sign up on our website sailonandflyhigh.org

It's hard to believe that we have been blessed to serve those with Diabetes in helping to find a cure. We have been honored to do this for 25 years. I'm very blessed to have my loving wife Jill by my side in helping lead us to bigger & better times each year along with our amazing children Anthony, Ashley, Courtney & spouses as well as Brooke. The Miller family is very grateful to have friends & family join us for one last ride. Furthermore, we are honored to move this event over to a very viable cause of Sucide Awareness / mental health with Sail on & Fly High by Cassy & David Lawrence. Miller Memorial will be with them in supporting this journey & also ask for everyone else's continued support. Thanks for the wonderful memories of 25 years to all that helped us become bigger & better. God's blessings to you all. Pray we see everyone the last Saturday of July 2022.
