New month, new cleanup location!

It’s a hot one lately, and we’re sure you think you have somewhere better to be but in case you have a free hour at 10am next Saturday, the 20th, we’d love to see you.

We will meet in the church parking lot but our focus is on the surrounding neighborhood block. As always we have drinks & snacks & all the supplies needed to fill a bag and get on with your day!

We hope to see you there!

Our first event of the year that is less about cleaning up the neighborhood and more about meeting neighbors and getting out and about in the Benson business district!

Join or renew with us Thursday evening and we’ll hand you a fresh roll of quarters for free play should you choose to stay and hang.

Great chance to get to know the board better and talk about ideas you’ve got or upcoming events we’ve got without the guidelines of a meeting agenda!

“One for every day of the year.”

3️⃣6️⃣5️⃣ vehicles came to the BNA co-hosted cleanup on Saturday!!! We surpassed last years number and whoa 😅 we thought that was a busy one.

HUGE thank you to our incredible group of volunteers, we literally could not do this without you. More specifically .moldenhauer the leader who makes the day run smoothly, the city workers who put in extra time on their Saturday to keep our neighborhood clean, continues to show up and show out bringing large numbers of muscles so that cars keep moving through our line, and a couple of overly generous neighbors who give their time each year without hesitation, we are so grateful!!

We take donations each year as a way to support our cleanup being one of the best in Omaha but you can ALWAYS become a member as the best way to donate to making the BNA and our cleanups a success year after year.

Thanks Benson, Saturday sure was fun!

I’m sure you’ve seen the campaign signs in all the neighborhood yards - just a few tips to make sure you’re ready to vote in May!

You may check your voter registration status or political party by visiting the Secretary of State’s Voter Check website at any time.

In addition to the library you can register to vote at the Douglas County Election Commission - By Mail, the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), and the Department of Health and Human Services / Department of Education.

Identification is only required for those who register in Nebraska for the first time by mail. If a registrant does not provide identification when registering to vote for the first time by mail, they will be required to show identification when voting.
