Our mission is to equip and empower unemployed and under educated men and women. We accept anything with a cord or a battery.

Our mission is to empower disadvantaged and undereducated men and women to attain employment and self sufficiency through character development, vocational training and job experience. We do this in a unique way where we operate businesses where our students work to learn. They gain work skills and experiences that will help them become productive and successful. We operate a full service electron

ic recycling business called Cross Electronic Recycling; a computer and electronics store called Redeemed Computers & Electronics; a full service auto repair shop called Cross Automotive and a venue rental called Cross Social Hall. We save our environment by keeping electronics, appliances and other equipment out of the landfills. And the best part is that everything we collect is used for vocational training and job experience. As a Microsoft Authorized Refurbisher, we sell fully refurbished computers at low costs and even further reduced prices for those who qualify.

Two weeks ago Monday at 3am we had someone break in. We would have loved to help them with a fresh start, building skills or exposing them to practical work experience. Those things only happen when our building is open and our students are here.

If you are looking to build those skills or help us with our mission, our center is open to assist with job training during these hours:

Tuesday through Friday - 9am to 3pm
Saturday - 10am to 3pm

We focus on people, purpose, and growth, just during posted hours.

As we wrap up Christmas Day, we are filled with gratitude. Today is a reminder of hope, renewal, and the power of investing in people.

Cross Training Center will be closed today as we head into the holiday. We are still open for recycling and last minute purchases until 1pm, but our training program and students are getting a much needed rest for the Christmas Holiday.

We are thankful for our students, staff, and community partners who continue to support our mission of training, dignity, and opportunity.

Cross Training Center will be closed for Thanksgiving and will remain closed on Friday November 28 so our students and staff can enjoy time with their families. We will reopen with full services on December 2.

Nebraska and America Recycles Day remind us how powerful hands on learning can be.

About a month ago we welcomed students from LifeGate School to take part in electronic recycling training. They saw how each device they processed protected the environment and reduced the impact of e waste in our state. Their work showed that students can make a real difference when given purpose and guidance. Cross Training Center is thankful for partners who help us train the next generation to serve their community through responsible recycling.

We invite more groups to learn how meaningful work can support both people and the planet.
