Give a young person space to test their limits, and you never know what they'll discover about themselves. 🧡

This July, Outlook Explorers: Journey Beyond Sight Camp returned after a six-year hiatus, bringing together youth who are blind or visually impaired for a week of adventure, friendship, and growth.

For some, it meant trying something they had never done before. For others, it was finding independence, connecting with someone who understood, or realizing they were capable of more than they thought.

From the rock wall to new friendships, see how camp helped young people discover their own strength. Click the link below to read!

Thank you to Brownell Talbot College Preparatory School's junior class for spending part of their service-learning day with us last week!

During their visit, students learned more about Outlook’s mission and blind etiquette before joining an immersion activity. Using vision simulation goggles representing different eye conditions and sleep shades, they experienced firsthand how everyday tasks may require different techniques and adaptations when navigating vision loss.

We appreciate you stopping by, asking great questions, and helping make sandwiches for our associates! 😉

Our 3rd Annual Bags & Brews Co****le Tournament is in the books! We had a great afternoon at Heavy Brewing sharing our mission with our community members and enjoying a little friendly competition.

Every team registered, and every raffle ticket purchased supported our programs, helping us create more opportunities for people experiencing vision loss to connect with others, try something new, build independence, and continue doing the things they enjoy.

Thank you to everyone who came out and spent your Sunday with us! We hope to see you back at the boards next year! 🧡

“I am strong, and I can do hard things.”

At 15, Anna Weber lives by those words. She is legally blind from CLN3 Batten disease, but that hasn’t stopped her from picking up a golf club, joining a team, and chasing every new adventure that comes her way.

Through it all, Anna continues to show that her vision doesn’t define what she can do. With confidence, determination, and a willingness to try something new, she’s already looking ahead to her next adventure.
