OPEN CALL — MAPLE ST. CONSTRUCT FILM FESTIVAL

Two minutes or less. A phone or a camera. An invitation to experiment.

Since 2020, Maple St. Construct has hosted an annual exhibition of nontraditional short films during Benson First Friday in Omaha’s Benson Creative District. Over the past two years, films have been projected onto our building façade and the walls within our space.

We invite artists, architects, designers, videographers, and other creatives to submit nontraditional short films made with cell phones or video equipment.

Maximum length: 2 minutes
Submission deadline: Sunday, November 1, at 11:59 PM CT
Screening: Friday, November 6, during Benson First Friday at Maple St. Construct

Up to 20 films will be selected for the exhibition.
