In Lloyd, Kentucky, on U.S. 23, there’s a sign on the Country Music Highway dedicated to renowned fiddler Jason Carter. It was placed there because of his other accomplishments—the Grammy awards, the worldwide tours, and the many other accolades he’s earned through his music. But for Carter, joining the legendary names honored on that stretch of highway just might mean the most. "There's a certain sound that's up there that you just don't hear anywhere else," he says. "I think that played a big part in how I sound today."

Carter has been featured on albums by Steve Earle, Ricky Skaggs, Dierks Bentley, Charlie Daniels, Vince Gill, Asleep at the Wheel, and many more, all in addition to his tireless touring and recording with Del as well as the Travelin’ McCourys!

Find tickets for Jason Carter Band showing at the Zoo Bar - Lincoln, US Friday Aug 21, 9:00PM Tickets starting at $28.25

This is a bring-your-own beverage event
Bring your pickin' chair for outside jams until 5:00pm
Open stage* available from 12:30 - 2:00 for 10-minute performances – sign up when you get there

05/03/2026

Just a reminder - The Corson Branch Buzzard Club will be taking the stage at 2:00pm today at American Legion Post #1 (7811 Davenport St) to close out the 2025-26 GPBOTMA season with a bang.
Corson Branch Buzzard Club is a Lincoln-based five-piece ensemble specializing in old-time string band music, pre-war blues, early country, and sloppy jazz. Rather than a strict preservation act, the group focuses on an energetic delivery of the American songbook. If you saw them here a couple of years ago, you know they deliver the goods! Don't miss out!
