🌹 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗟𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 🌹

Today we celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, commemorating the victory of the Christian fleet at the Battle of Lepanto in 1571. Pope St. Pius V had called the faithful to pray the Rosary for victory, and the feast remains a beautiful reminder of the power of prayer and Our Lady’s intercession.

Today, we may not be facing a battle at sea, but each of us is carrying a battle of some kind.

When we invest in the formation of priests, we invest in the whole Church.

At the Institute for Priestly Formation, we accompany seminarians, priests, and bishops in deepening their relationship with Christ—because a priest who is rooted in the love of God is better equipped to lead, serve, and accompany others.

𝗜𝗣𝗙 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝘀𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝗮 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁.

The fruit of priestly formation reaches far beyond the priest himself. It reaches our families, our parishes, our communities—and all those entrusted to his care.

Pray for our priests. Pray for our seminarians. And pray for the work of priestly formation. 🙏

Today, the Church celebrates the Feast of the Guardian Angels – a beautiful reminder that each of us has been given an angel who constantly watches over us, leads us, and helps us on our journey to Heaven.

𝐅𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐞𝐥, 𝐆𝐚𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐥 & 𝐑𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐚𝐞𝐥, 𝐀𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐬 👼

Today the Church celebrates three of the archangels named in Sacred Scripture: Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael.

Their names themselves point us toward God.

Michael — “𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐢𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐆𝐨𝐝?” — reminds us that God alone is worthy of our worship and trust.
Gabriel — “𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐲 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡” — is the messenger who announced to Mary that she would become the Mother of the Savior.
Raphael — “𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐬” — accompanied Tobias on his journey and became an instrument of God’s healing and providence.

The angels are not distant figures from a story long ago. They are servants and messengers of God, continually directing our attention toward Him and carrying out His will.

And the archangels remind us of something we can easily forget: we are part of a reality much greater than what we can see. The Lord surrounds us with His care, and His heavenly hosts serve Him in ways we may never fully understand.

𝐓𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐚𝐬𝐤 𝐒𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐞𝐥, 𝐆𝐚𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐥, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐚𝐞𝐥 𝐭𝐨 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐝𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮.

St. Michael, defend us.
St. Gabriel, guide us to receive God’s word.
St. Raphael, accompany us and bring us closer to the healing of Christ.

𝐒𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐞𝐥, 𝐆𝐚𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐥, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐚𝐞𝐥, 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐮𝐬! 🙏
