You went away mom one year ago today. I think of you sometimes and it hurts but it's less as the days go by. I saw the cardinal this morning and I knew it was you checking up on me and watching me train Herc, you'd like him but he's a handful. I know you're with Pa, Conan, Brutis, Buster, Honey Girl, Cinnamon, Wilbert, Mason and the rest, give them all my love and tell them I said hi. I hope you all are at peace and playing together at the big park in the sky. As you know I lost Mason earlier this year and Mona's had some issues but she's going to be ok. Work is going good and my hands are gaining strength again by the day. Bellas doing great--almost straight A's. She's going to be in a school play next weekend and I hope you'll be there to see her, I know how much you'd love it. We're so proud of her, she's growing up to be a a beautiful, smart and kind woman. It's Mona's birthday as you know and I'll make sure to tell her happy birthday from you, I love you mom and everythings going to be ok
