Happy Pride Month from Urban Abbey!

We are proud to say that we work every day to be a welcoming, affirming, loving space for the LGBTQ+ community.

For the month of June, 10% of all coffee bar sales will be donated to OutNebraska to fuel their mission of advocating for LGBTQ+ Nebraskans.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our groundbreaking celebration at our new building! What a joyful and meaningful day as we marked this exciting next chapter together.

We are deeply grateful to our special guests: Mayor John Ewing Jr., former Mayor Jim Suttle, Eastern Nebraska District Superintendent Rev. Stephanie Alschwede, Great Plains UMC Bishop David Wilson, and Lisa Schulze from the Women’s Fund of Omaha for helping us celebrate this milestone.

A huge thank you as well to eCreamery for the delicious ice cream and to Kyle and Kaitlin for providing wonderful music throughout the event.

Most of all — thank you to our community, supporters, partners, and friends. This building is more than a space; it is a reflection of the love, vision, and commitment so many of you have invested in this work. We can’t wait to continue building the future together! ❤️ 🏳️‍🌈
