Please come see what we painted, and what innovative life changing medical training and supplies Pipeline Worldwide is facilitating in Uganda at this event tomorrow from 10-3, at UNO. We had a wonderful time following the lead of Benter Mock. Benter's Family has roots in Sudan and she has traveled to Uganda. Assisting Benter on this project have been Holly Carey, Anne Newman, Morgan Cronk, Mary Ensz, Zach Storz and Josh Joshua Morgan. The shipping container will be at UNO for a short time and then be on site at a medical training campus in Uganda. Local people will be trained how to use similar quickly established clinics that will hopefully be set up in many hard to reach places with health care challenges! Please support this wonderful effort!
We are excited to see Benter take on this project. She joined us in 2020 on our South Omaha Black American Mural, as a high school apprentice. She has worked with us almost full time since then and is currently attending college at UNO.
Only one week away!
Pipeline Worldwide and the UNMC Global Center for Health Security will unveil an innovative medical simulation lab headed to Uganda!
The Omaha Simulation Container Lab Expo is a one-day event celebrating the transformation of a shipping container into a fully equipped remote simulation training lab designed to advance continuing medical education in Northern Uganda.
As we count down, here’s a sneak peek of the vibrant mural being painted on the container—highlighting the spirit of collaboration and creativity driving this project forward. Come see for yourself!

After the Expo, the container will be outfitted with donated medical equipment from Nebraska Medicine and shipped to the Lonyi Village Innovation Learning Center in Moyo, Uganda. There, it will provide essential hands-on and virtual medical training to healthcare professionals, supporting the UN Sustainable Development Goals and Uganda’s Ministry of Health objectives.
