Innocence Freed

Innocence Freed By providing a safe haven and comprehensive restorative care, we strive to honor God and uphold the dignity of every survivor we serve.

A faith-based nonprofit dedicated to providing shelter, healing, & hope to survivors of s*xual exploitation and human trafficking through comprehensive, trauma-informed care, mentorship, & support services.

*Subscriber Hub payments are not tax-deductible Our vision is rooted in a deep commitment to faith and compassion, aiming to transform the lives of adult and child victims of human trafficking

and s*xual exploitation. Our Philosophy:
Human trafficking is a complex issue. Anti-trafficking efforts must uphold best practices to ensure the highest level of prevention education and care for victims and survivors. For that reason, Innocence Freed supports the following philosophy regarding prevention, awareness, advocacy, intervention, safety, protection, and restoration efforts. Our Core Values:
Collaboration – We believe that the fight to end human trafficking must be approached collaboratively through community awareness, multidisciplinary team efforts, and holistic restoration. Integrity & Transparency – As experts and leaders in the fight to end exploitation and human trafficking, we believe in organizational transparency for our stakeholders and strategic stewardship. Empowerment – We believe in a culture of healthy empowerment for our team, our partners, and those we serve. God-Centered – Centering our program around Christ shows a commitment to providing holistic support that addresses the spiritual as well as the physical and emotional needs of survivors. Faith-based approaches can provide comfort, hope, and a sense of purpose for survivors as they navigate their journey of healing and restoration.

Today, we pause to remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice purchased freedoms that many of us enjoy every single day.

As we gather with family and friends this 🇺🇸 Memorial Day, may we never forget the courage, honor, and selflessness of those who never made it home.

We remember.
We honor.
We are grateful.

‘Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.’

We just do not understand how this could be. This woman was responsible for the r_pe, abuse and torture of children and adults in order to gain power, control and money. The judge allows her to walk at a 10% bond = $1,000. What do we need to do as a society and individuals to end this monstrosity?

What about the children and adults she sold? Where is the justice for them?

Some of the highest and lowest bonds we've ever seen in Omaha s*x trafficking cases.

Same case. Different judges.

Last October, Omaha Police officers dismantled a s*x trafficking ring involving a city employee.

The judge set bonds ranging from $5 million to $20 million / 10% for the five suspects involved to keep our community safe.

This week, a sixth suspect, Jenilee Rapp, 40, appeared in court accused of keeping a place of prostitution and possession of child po*******hy.

A different judge set her bond at $10,000 / 10%.

That means she needs $1,000 to walk out of jail.

The vast majority of Douglas County judges set fair bonds and believe in keeping Omaha safe.

But this judge continues setting low bonds for serious offenders, putting our community at risk.

Yesterday, we had the honor of celebrating one of our incredibly dedicated volunteers, DeLynne Clausen.

We are beyond grateful for DeLynne and the heart she has carried for survivors over so many years. She has faithfully volunteered with Innocence Freed since our inception in 2024, standing beside us with compassion, consistency, and generosity.

Long before Innocence Freed began, DeLynne was already serving survivors by donating beautiful gift boxes to women in the previous short and long-term housing program, Rejuvenating Women/Restored Wings, for adult female survivors founded by our CEO, Julie Shrader, in 2012.

People like DeLynne are a reminder that healing happens through community, kindness, and those willing to quietly show up again and again.

Thank you, DeLynne, for loving survivors so well and for being part of this mission for so many years. We appreciate you more than words can express. 💜

Every time a survivor reaches out for help, there is a real need attached to that call.

A meal.
Safe housing.
School supplies.
A phone bill.
Transportation.
Vehicle repair.

At Innocence Freed, our Stability Grant helps survivors of trafficking and exploitation, of all ages, with urgent needs during some of the hardest moments of their lives.

So far, we have helped with:
• Rent and utilities
• Emergency meals
• Legal financial support
• Payment for education and peer support training
• Phone and communication support
• Crisis intervention needs

Some survivors are fighting to stay out of exploitation. Some are trying to keep their lights on. Some are simply trying to survive another day safely.

And the truth is, the need keeps growing.

We are looking for donors, churches, businesses, and sponsors willing to help us continue saying YES when survivors need help most.

Whether it is $25 or $2,500, every gift matters. 💜

If you would like to support our Stability Grant fund, please message us at [email protected] or donate through Innocence Freed at https://innocencefreed.org/donate/.

Your generosity helps bring stability, dignity, safety, and hope back into someone’s life. 💓
