"If you want people to love you, serve them, help them,
and expend yourself for them. Let them feel your love
through what you offer them of help, of giving and of
expending. Those who love themselves want always
to take and to obtain and to win. As for you, do not
be so. Train yourself to expend and to give"

"How great is God's love for us; it suffices that
God is love, and we loved Him because He first
loved us. He loved us before we existed,
and for this reason He created us. And out of His
love for us, He created us in His image, and
according to His likeness.

And He prepared all things before creating us;
He raised heaven as a roof for us, and prepared the
earth for us to walk upon. He prepared for us light
and water and plants, and the Garden, and then
He created us"
