Nick Koehler is NAM’s new Policy and Communication Manager
Nick earned his BA in Political Science from The George Washington University and worked in Washington, D.C., and Northern Virginia before returning to Omaha in early 2025. His commitment to serving his hometown makes his role at NAM especially meaningful. Nick joined NAM in April, bringing valuable experience in public policy, communications, and advocacy. Under his leadership, NAM will amplify the voices of our communities, strengthen policy work, and share impactful stories. He will also lead key initiatives to develop NAM’s policy agenda, advance advocacy, lobby at various levels of government, and build relationships with elected officials to support our priorities. These projects will provide new ways for members to connect and collaborate on shared priorities. We are thrilled to have his leadership shaping NAM’s messaging and policy efforts. Please join us in welcoming Nick to the team.
Nick presents before the Omaha City Council on May 19, 2026, in support of an Ordinance that would ease restrictions on city employees fundraising for non-profits during working hours.
