P***k reflects on his memories from a time he was too young to fully understand, the struggle to make sense of what he witnessed, and his fear that one day he will be 'the last witness.'

IHE & JCRC staff got a first look at our newest traveling exhibit!

Messages from Survivors: One Family’s Holocaust Legacy is now available for communities throughout the region.

Developed in partnership with the The Memory Project, the exhibit uses powerful video testimony and engaging informational panels to share the story of one Jewish family while helping visitors understand the Holocaust and its lasting impact.

Expanded exclusively by IHE, this version also includes a seventh panel, Aftermath: Survivors in Nebraska, connecting the family’s story to the experiences of survivors who made Nebraska home.

Coming to Omaha this November!

The Institute for Holocaust Education (IHE) is proud to present 'Malkin in My Hands,' an exhibition featuring reproductions of the artwork of Peter Malkin, the Mossad agent who helped capture N**i war criminal Adolf Eichmann.

Make plans to stop by, experience the exhibit, and join IHE for two special events held in conjunction with Malkin in My Hands:

This October, the Anne Frank: A History for Today exhibit will be heading to Walnut Middle School - Grand Island Public Schools .

They will be welcoming the community, to experience the exhibit on two special community nights:

Thursday, Oct. 22: 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 24: 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Come learn about Anne Frank’s story and the history of the Holocaust through the eyes of student docents.

We always appreciate seeing community photos from those who attended the Anne Frank: A History for Today exhibit. Seeing students and community members learning from Anne Frank’s story, gaining understanding, and helping keep her legacy alive for future generations is deeply meaningful.

Tonight our teens were great learners at the “Anne Frank, a History for Today” exhibit presented by the Institute for Holocaust Education. And there guide happened to be one of their Hebrew High classmates!

The Omaha community is invited to Burke High School tomorrow, September 30, from 6:00–7:30 p.m. to explore Anne Frank: A History for Today.

Burke students, specially trained as docents, will guide visitors through this powerful exhibit, sharing Anne Frank’s story within the broader context of the Holocaust and World War II.

The Institute for Holocaust Education (IHE) is honored to be partners with the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam and the University of South Carolina's Anne Frank Center to bring the Anne Frank: A History for Today to schools across Nebraska and Western Iowa at no cost to participating schools.

This traveling exhibit invites students to explore the history of the Holocaust through Anne's life while reflecting on the choices we make today.
