After a number of dialogues, social network posts, town hall meetings and media presentations, a group of individuals have come together to form the STAND Group. A group that is designed to network with and raise awareness of existing community agencies and organizations whose intended purpose is to address inner-city issues. We recognize the need for change and believe that through education, men

toring, and intervention programs change will occur. It is our goal to help support and strengthen the urban community through activism, mobilization; the utilization of workshops, symposiums, presentations and rallies to decrease inner-city deficits which currently exist.
