Opportunity for college sophomores (graduation dates between December 2024 and August 2025)

Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT) is currently looking for participants for our upcoming Career Prep Program cohort. MLT's Career Prep Program provides one-on-one coaching, personal clarity, job search guidance, a powerful professional network, and access to top employers through leadership development seminars.

MLT is a national nonprofit empowering a new generation of diverse leaders in the business and technology sectors. MLT coaches African American, Latinx, and Native American talent to secure high trajectory post-college jobs that deliver economic mobility for their families, and then provides the social capital they need to become high-impact senior leaders who can transform our institutions and vulnerable communities.

The Creighton University Upward Bound Programs are excited to announce we have been approved to host our summer residential program!!

We have hired some awesome summer residential staff to work with our amazing participants but we still need a few more Resident Advisors and an Assistant Resident Director. If you know of any college students, graduate students, or anyone with a bachelors degree that has free time this summer, please send them my way!

Congrats Keenan Akeem Tomlinson!!

Meet the newest member of the MENTOR Nebraska team, Keenan Tomlinson!

As the Mentoring Coordinator, Keenan is focused on implementing Youth Initiated Mentoring within Charles Drew Health Center, Inc. He manages referrals from community-based organizations and juvenile justice agencies to match system-impacted youth with mentors.

Keenan is a current mentor through 100 Black Men of Omaha and a recipient of the 2019 Young Black & Influential Omaha Award and 2018 TRIO Community Service Award. Prior to joining MENTOR Nebraska, he worked as the Program Director at the Mount View Boys and Girls Club. Keenan earned his bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Families & Inequalities from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

Hello Upward Bound!

Save a Girl, Save a World is an organization that started at Bennett College in 2010.

There is an opportunity for high school and college girls all over the country to participate in an entrepreneurship program where they will learn how to operate or grow a business, have ongoing coaching, and an opportunity to earn $2,500 for their business through a pitch competition.
