Our Mission:
To Support the programming & services of the RBJH making the best environment to enhance the quality of life for all Residents. What We Do Annually
• Plan & sponsor events & activities for RBJH Residents on Holidays and Birthdays
• Provide welcome bags to new Residents
• Raised funds for major projects to enhance the lives and comfort of the residents of the Rose Blumkin Jewish Home. All donations go directly to programs, projects, activities & gifts to the Blumkin home & our Residents. Click below for donations and tribute cards

RBJH residents enjoyed a special Father’s Day Teatime celebration with chicken BBQ Sliders with coleslaw. Adding to the festivities, Lisa and Howard Marcus distributed Father’s Day cards on behalf of the LOVE Board, bringing smiles and warm wishes to our residents. A heartfelt thank you to the League Offering Volunteers for the Elderly (LOVE) for their generosity, thoughtfulness, and for providing such a wonderful treat. Their kindness helped make this Father’s Day celebration truly special.

On Mother's Day, LOVE delivered card and beautiful flowers to the moms who are residents at the Rose Blumkin Jewish Home.

Blumkin residents enjoyed savory and sweet Memorial Day treats featuring slices of pizza and red velvet cupcakes, as they celebrated the kickoff to summer with thanks to LOVE for providing these delicious goodies.

RBJH residents enjoyed a delightful change of pace at teatime with a savory Passover treat featuring crisp vegetables and salami, rather than the usual sweets. The refreshing savory spread was warmly received and added a special touch to the occasion. A heartfelt thank you goes to League Offering Volunteers for the Elderly LOVE for their generosity and for providing such a delicious treat.

RBJH residents and staff felt the love at our Sweetheart Teatime, sponsored by League Offering Volunteers for the Elderly (LOVE). The afternoon featured a refreshing twist: delicious Asian meatballs served over crisp Asian coleslaw. Savory treats, smiling faces, and full hearts all around!

RBJH celebrated Hanukkah in style with a wide range of festive activities throughout the eight days. Residents enjoyed several Hanukkah concerts, including a special performance of one-of-a-kind holiday tunes by Deborah Greenblat and Marti Nerenstone, as well as a joyous annual Hanukkah party with Anna Mosenkis and donuts from Krispy Kreme sponsored by L.O.V.E. The celebration also featured over-the-top Hanukkah bingo, creative Hanukkah crafts, and a lively latke-frying party led by volunteer Michelle and Sabine, the Volunteer Coordinator. A heartwarming Hanukkah program presented by Rita Paskowitz with FJA added special meaning to an already memorable holiday.
