Pack 5 Spring Campout was a huge success!

We had such a fun weekend with our scouts at Camp Cedars. Friday evening kicked things off with a night hike, which was a great adventure for everyone.

Saturday morning, our Tigers made biscuits and gravy—yum! Then we rotated through some awesome stations:
• Creating constellations with toothpicks and mini marshmallows
• Practicing knots using pull-apart Twizzlers
• Tying knots on a fishing hook
• Yo-yo fun

In the afternoon, we went fishing and spent over two hours at the pond—catching so many fish! 🎣

Saturday evening included another hike, followed by roasting hotdogs and making s’mores around the fire. We wrapped up the night with skits and jokes that had everyone laughing.

Sunday morning, our Webelos and AOLs treated the pack to breakfast tacos and burritos—such a great way to end the weekend!

So many memories made—what a great campout!!

This weekend, Pack 5 had a fun campout at the zoo’s aquarium!

The scouts had an absolute blast exploring the zoo after hours. One of the coolest highlights was getting a behind-the-scenes tour of the shark tanks—such a wonderful experience!

Last weekend we held our Pinewood Derby at the Scout Office, and it turned out to be the perfect space—especially since our pack keeps growing!

It was so much fun seeing all of the creativity that went into the cars. From unique designs to awesome paint jobs, everyone did such a great job.

A few of our Scouts completed their bike elective today, and what a great day it was! The Arrow of Light Scouts (5th graders) rode an impressive 10 miles, while the rest of the pack biked 6 miles.

It started out as a cold and breezy morning, but the weather turned into a beautiful day for a ride.

Creativity Night was a huge success!

Tonight, our Scouts chose an item from home and used their imaginations to build something amazing! With themes of Camping, Outer Space, and Sports, Scouts grabbed supplies, chose a base, and created their projects with help from parents and hot glue.

Most chose the camping theme, and everyone had a blast being creative and hands-on.

Such a fun night for Pack 5!

Elekah, our AOL patrol leader for the evening, planned all of the activities for the pack, and the rest of the AOLs helped lead the rotations.
