Project Reset is a mentoring service to help justice-involved individuals find a life changing career in the skilled labor and trades. Our unique partnership with local unions, employers, and federally registered apprenticeship programs creates a platform for participants to obtain a career that provides financial stability and full benefits. Not only does this help the individual and their families, we believe it can eliminate dependency on state assistance, alleviate strain on the criminal justice system, and ultimately break the cycle of generational criminality, poverty, dysfunction, and trauma in our community. provides relevant information about apprenticeship career training and opportunities in the trades industry to youth in the Omaha Metro area. The William Brennan Institute for Labor Studies is a partnership with University of Nebraska at Omaha that provides coursework covering Employee Rights, Labor History, the Family and Medical Leave Act, Grievances, and various workers' rights topics. The William Brennan Institute for Labor Studies at UNO also hosts the annual “Promoting the General Welfare Conference.”
