The Dakota Access Pipeline (DAPL) is an affront to the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe’s sovereignty.We must urge President Biden to shut down DAPL before leaving office on January 20. This is our final opportunity to convince the administration to protect our environment and uphold Indigenous rights.

There are details in this article about the recent Keystone pipeline spill in Kansas - the largest spill to date. But there are many details that are NOT being released. And the long-term effects of the contamination are, of course, unknown, but benzene in even tiny amounts is not good.

Crews continue to remove oil from several miles of Mill Creek that are now blocked off from the rest of the creek. Contamination downstream is decreasing.

Canadian pipeline operator TC Energy Corp said on Thursday it had completed a controlled restart of its Keystone crude oil pipeline to Cushing, Oklahoma, safely returning the pipeline to service after a 21 day outage.
