The attendance on Facebook was low for Artificial Intelligence (episode #4), and I was sure that we were gonna take an L on it, but you guys really showed up to support. The event was a complete success, and a whole ass vibe. Thank you very much to everyone who came out to support, and everyone who helped to make it happen. I love you all, and we will be back in the spring with more raves.

Transitioning to a community support network.

Since we will not be organizing events for a while we will be transitioning the Nexis group into a community support network. We have identified 5 areas of need during this crisis, and we will be launching 5 Facebook groups to pool our collective resources. The 1st is a community support group where people who are in trouble can connect with resources, and people who can help, the 2nd is a Information sharing group where people can share news without Facebook filters, the 3rd is a crisis planning, and discussion group, the 4th, is an employment information group where people can post available jobs, and the 5th is a community Garden network because food scarcity is going to become a problem. There’s no telling where this will lead, but there is safety in numbers, and we need to start organizing now.
