⚾️ Sandlot Nights are coming to Benson Little League!

Grab your glove and come play free whiffle ball, Sandlot style, on Wednesday nights this fall.

📅 Wednesdays, Sept. 9-Oct. 7
⏰ 6-7:30 p.m.
📍 Benson Little League — both the red and blue fields
⚾ Ages — coach pitch and up

Five Wednesday nights to play ball, make new friends and enjoy the game. Older kids can help show the younger players the ropes. Everyone gets a chance to play together.

Equipment will be provided.

The sun has set on our season, but what a time we had together this year.

You showed up when we opened new fields, you supported our first Pitch, Hit and Run Skills clinic, you traveled with us to the state tourney and you helped us make gameday a special day for our kids all year. You made Little League exactly what it should be.

Thank you to our volunteers that made every part of the season possible, from the ceremonial first pitch on Opening Day to the last out recorded and every burger flipped and concessions sale in between.

We have so much to look forward to for next year, most notably adding SOFTBALL to our list of offerings. As our league continues to grow -- and we had exceptional growth this year -- so too does our need for volunteers. With softball on the way, we also are looking for community member(s) to join our board of directors.

Please join us in sending off our 10U and 12U Minors and Majors teams to the 2026 Nebraska State Little League Tournament.

Thanks to the nearly 30 kids and teens who participated in Benson Little League's first MLB Pitch, Hit & Run today, and the families who supported them. It was a fun day on the diamond seeing kids from 7-14 participate in the fundamentals of the game and cheer each other on today.

Congrats to the winners in each age division. See you back next year!

Benson Little League is looking for volunteers to help run concessions this season.

We’re looking for a mix of roles, including grill support and general concessions (snacks, drinks, and checkout). Shifts are short, and everything you need to know will be provided on-site.

Concessions play a big role in keeping the league running, and we rely on volunteers to make it happen.

If you’re able to take a shift or two, we’d really appreciate it.
