Benson Little League

⚾️🥎 A big thank-you to Fair Game Project for its continued support of Benson Little League!

Over the past several months, Fair Game Project has generously donated new and used baseball and softball equipment to BLL, most recently providing brand-new baseballs and softballs for our players.

Donations like these help BLL keep baseball and softball accessible to all kids who want to play ball ad help prepare us for softball next season.

We're grateful for community partners like Fair Game Project who share our belief that every child deserves the opportunity to play ball close to home.

👏 Thank you, Fair Game Project, for helping us grow the game and create more opportunities for kids in our community!

The forecast is much better for whiffle ball but we have some field maintenance scheduled this Wednesday evening and will not be able to host whiffle ball this week.

While we are disappointed that the weather and timing wasn't great on Wednesday nights the last five weeks, we really enjoyed the time for the evenings we were able to host. We will be looking for more ways to keep BLL kids going with these kinds of "off season" events as we move forward.

Thanks for all who joined us and we look forward to seeing you again soon!

What a turnout for the Handmade Parade last night! And what a beautiful night for our Little Leaguers to go for a walk through the neighborhood and see all the support they have behind them.

Thanks for marching with us last night, cheering us on when we passed by and making it a special experience for all of us.

Another great tradition developing in Benson.

Anyone else been missing being outside lately with all this rain? ☔️

Then join BLL tonight to march in the Handmade Parade as part of Benson First Friday.

We'll be at the Rose Hill Elementary School playground (56th and Corby) getting our signs ready to a fun evening spent outdoors in our beautiful community.🌳

We'll be there at 5:30 tonight and we'll have art supplies with us to make your personal sign. We'll start lining up at 6.

We're looking for kids who want to help us carry our banners through Benson.

Special thank you to our artists who helped us get ready for the Handmade Parade in Benson this Friday and all the volunteers and families who helped out and spent a nice afternoon together at the ball fields.
