Today is the National Day of the Deployed. The American Legion Auxiliary honors all United States deployed servicemembers, and we thank them for their service and sacrifice. We also recognize the sacrifices their families and loved ones make during their deployment. 🇺🇸 We are forever grateful. ❤️

The first of each month is Day. The mission of The American Legion's Be The One initiative is to reduce the rate of veteran su***de. Whether you're a veteran, friend, or family member of a veteran, you can help raise awareness for the mission — be the one to save one.

Visit betheone.org to learn more and see some of the ways The American Legion Family is working to address this important mission. And remember, it's ok to not be ok.

It's time to clean out those closets, basements and attics!!
There is a Card Party for the Troops happening at the D.A.V. on Saturday November 8th!!
They are looking for Christmas, Hanukah, Birthday, Thinking of You cards to send to our troops for the holidays. The goal is 3,000 - 4,000 cards!! There is a donation box at the D.A.V. at 4515 F St, Omaha, NE 68117.
