Special thanks to the mom of a couple of our members! She donated all these “mystery” Halloween ornaments to our foundation. We will be handing these out to those who registered for our Amazing Pizza Machine event.
Will you get a Star Wars surprise or a Minions surprise? (Or both?)

If you have a child with special needs and would like them to be a Harrison’s Playmaker, you can sign them up on our website: Harrisonsplaymakers.org

Harrison’s Playmakers “On the Go”!
Kaden Hoffer, one of our Harrison’s Playmakers - Omaha (and a lifelong Jets fan) made the trek to East Rutherford, NJ to watch Harrison play against the Packers! And he got to spend a little time with Harry in the family and friends tent!

We just wanted to give a HUGE shout out to Creative Press & Design. They have provided us with so many of the necessary tools to help us become as successful as we are. We went to them over 8 years ago when we started this little foundation and they have supported us and catered to all our creative business needs since that day!

We encourage you to check them out for YOUR next print product or design service - they are the ones with the expertise you expect.

Sunday Night Sept 6, 2026, was our first-ever Drive-in Movie Night and every one of the Playmaker families we visited with expressed what a good time they had! It was held at the Quasar Drive-In Theater in Valley, NE and was a double feature - Cars (commemorating its 20th anniversary) and Toy Store 5 ("Bonnie's coming!"). With over 120 members attending, we all enjoyed visiting and socializing prior to the movies. Plus, they played our "Playmaker's Heart" video AND there was a surprise message from Harrison himself!
Our Pay-it-forward partner for this event was The Bethlehem House and Julie and Tracy were on hand to accept and thank our attendees for their generous donations!
We all appreciated the cool down in weather and marveled at the glorious sunset!

If you haven't been to an outdoor theater in a long time, we encourage to go out to Quasar and let Jeff and his team make your experience memorable.

Harrison's Playmakers Omaha hosted a Back-to-School "Shop with a Jets Jock" event on Wednesday, 7/22/26. This year, we welcomed 200 Playmaker Pups—double the number from last year—thanks in part to the generosity of the Target store in K Plaza Omaha, which helped financially support our foundation! They also gave each shopper a “Squishie” and a wall poster to take home.

Our Pay it Forward partner was the KETV 7 Can Help Salvation Army Back to School Backpack Program, and our members truly stepped up with their donations! We even included below a photo of the cart packed with boxes we filled—twice! A couple of Playmaker Pups forgot their donations at home but used the gift cards we gave them to buy school supplies on the spot. KETV and the Salvation Army were there to share in the joy Harrison’s Playmakers feel when “giving back” to the community!

Harrison was there to help our members shop for school supplies—or whatever else they wanted—and to offer encouraging words to help them overcome any negative perceptions they may have had about themselves.

Please enjoy some of the photos from the event.

We are so proud to receive the 2026 Community Impact Award from Core Bank in Omaha! Their organization recognizes the good we are doing in our community for those with special needs or developmental differences. Harrison was on hand to accept the plaque as well as Core Bank’s check for $5000. These funds will go a long way towards supporting our focus of including those with special needs into mainstream society. Thanks to the Core Bank committee that selected us for this honor!

Part 1
Harrison's Playmakers Inclusion Revolution Camp 2026!
We had over 600 in attendance (not counting the monkeys or snakes!) which included Playmaker Pups (with developmental differences), family members, friends and Volunteers!
10 Groups rotated between 10 different stations (putt-putt golf was new this year!) and we all had a great time. Swag bags donated by the NY Jets and take away meals donated by the Runza on 168th and Harrison St. All attendees got a special drink from The Sip Stop, and an ice cream treat from Mr. Ice Cream as they departed. Volunteers received pizza from Double Zero pizza (a delicious and affordable LOCAL business!)

Special thanks go out to our Title Funding Sponsor, Senior Market Sales - who, in addition to funding support, also brought 8 volunteers to assist!

Thank to Cindy and Rachel for photo and video support and to James, our DJ (Talk About It Entertainment)!
We are grateful for ALL our volunteers who came out and made this years' camp a huge success!
