Huge, heartfelt thanks to everyone who came out to the second annual Zach Smith Memorial Jam! 🫶 We appreciate all our friends who came from near and far to celebrate our boy, especially Zach’s parents and family. Big love to Silo Omaha and everyone who helped make this year’s event happen! 🫰

Special thanks to our buddy Matt Scheffler for these beautiful flicks from the event and construction by Hunger Skateparks, the NPSC, and friends. We’re sincerely grateful to City of Omaha Parks & Recreation and The Skatepark Project for believing and investing in this space and our community.

To anyone that’s ever skated, advocated, donated, or supported this space in any way, we thank you.

The NPSC is honored to advise on and help fundraise for the FIRST-EVER skatepark on the Omaha Reservation, located in Walthill, NE!

Home of the renowned Dr. Susan La Flesche Picotte, — the first Native American woman to receive a medical degree — the proposed ~4,000 sq. ft. site for the skatepark is just a stone’s throw away from her home and the hospital she helped establish in 1913.

Help us meet our $250,000 fundraising goal for the project by making a tax-deductible donation to our friends at the Nebraska Community Foundation through this link: https://www.nebcommfound.org/give/walthill-skateboard-project! 🙏

Stay tuned for more exciting updates on this project, as well as NEW skate spaces in both Omaha and Lincoln! 👀
