The Redress Movement Omaha is partnering with Together Omaha to abolish unfair rental application fees in our local communities. Together, we are hosting a campaign-organizing training to teach neighbors how to come together to develop strategic goals and plans to fight for housing justice here in Omaha. This two-day training is FREE and open to the public.

It will take place on Sunday, June 14th, from 2 - 7 pm and Monday, June 15th, from 6:30 - 9 pm. RSVP by scanning/screenshotting the QR code above to receive additional details!

Our 2026 Malcolm X 101st Birthday Celebration was a powerful evening of legacy, community, and recognition. The community showed up to celebrate those who are doing the work today and those who laid the foundation before us.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the night unforgettable! Special thanks to Senator Spivey, the NCAAA, the Black in Action collective, and the Omaha NAACP.

Speakers will provide updates on the development project and share the Foundation's vision for honoring his legacy within the community.

Today marks 101 years since the birth of Malcolm Little in North Omaha, Nebraska.

Honor his birthday today by listening to the Ballot or the Bullet, reading the Basic Aims and Objectives of the Organization of Afro-American Unity, and and challenging yourself to build a plan that advances the ideas, discipline, and purpose Malcolm X left with us more than six decades ago.
