🌱 A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out for the Citywide Spring Cleanup on May 16th! What an incredible day for our community!
This event doesn’t happen without amazing volunteers, and we are so grateful for each and every one of you. A special shoutout to:
🙌 Dave Dickinson – for organizing and pulling the whole day together
🚛 Matt Riedlinger & James Riedlinger, Greg Hart, Connor and friends – for helping load all the supplies people brought in
🚦 Kelly Ostronic, Cheyenne Robertson – for keeping traffic moving and helping people with information on the sorting
🍩🍕 Barb Meier & Jessica Zulkosky– for keeping our volunteers fueled with donuts and pizza!
It was a BUSY day — we had so many Omaha city residents come out to drop off items, and it truly showed what this neighborhood is made of. We look forward to making this an annual tradition, and hope to see even more volunteers next year!

🌿🧹 IT’S CLEANUP TIME, FALCON RIDGE! 🧹🌿

We’re excited to join in the Citywide Spring Cleanup Day Saturday, May 16th from 9AM–2PM — and we need YOUR help to make it a success!

Volunteers are needed throughout the day for various activities. Whether you can give an hour or the whole morning, every hand makes a difference! 💪

🚛 City compactors will be set up in the parking lot of Beetle Middle School, where residents from our area can drop off items for removal. Please check the posted flyers in the comments for the list of permitted drop-off items.

🎓 Do you have a student who needs volunteer hours? This is a PERFECT opportunity! We’re happy to sign off on any hours served.

🌳 We Need YOUR Help, Falcon Ridge! 🌳
Our city has delivered mulch and we are SO close to finishing out the trees north of Jefferson and south of Drexel — but we can’t do it without you! 💪
⚠️ Please do NOT take the cones from the mulch piles. They are there to protect the mulch until we can spread it!
We have two large piles waiting on Drexel and Jefferson, and we are in desperate need of volunteers THIS WEEK to get them spread.
🙌 Grab your family and friends and come make a difference in our park!

🌿 Keeping Falcon Ridge Beautiful — Together! 🌿

Hello, Falcon Ridge neighbors! As we enjoy the warmer days ahead and get outside with our beloved pets, we want to send a friendly reminder to please pick up after them. 🐾
A clean neighborhood is something we all take pride in, and it only takes a moment to make a big difference! If you’re ever caught without a bag, don’t worry — we have a pet waste station available on Jefferson and fully stocked with complimentary bags for your convenience.
📍 Stop by, grab a bag, and keep our community clean and welcoming for all residents.

🚨 Safety Reminder 🚨

As the weather warms up and cools down, we’ve noticed an increase in kids spending time near the ponds—and some attempting to go out on the ice. Please remember that spring ice is extremely unsafe and can give way without warning.

We kindly ask all homeowners to talk with children about staying off the ice and away from the ponds during this time of year. A quick conversation or reminder can prevent a very serious accident.

Let’s all work together to keep our kids safe. 💙
