O.U.R. assisted in the arrest of a man suspected of trafficking 40 men and women to Saudi Arabia for labor and s*x. Thanks to our partners at Agape International Missions and local law enforcement, this man was captured and all of the survivors were able to return home safely.

The trafficker lured his victims by selling them a $2,000 job training. Once they paid him, he told them that all the positions were full and offered to send them to Saudi Arabia to "work in factories and beauty salons". Instead, when they arrived in Saudi Arabia, the men were forced into labor trafficking and the women were forced into having s*x with customers at massage parlors.

Luckily, one girl escaped back home to Cambodia and alerted authorities. After several months, the trafficker was found and arrested. We are grateful to our partners at AIM for representing and supporting the survivors through the upcoming legal processes.

As a result of O.U.R.’s training and support, the Utah Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force arrested 24 s*xual predators and rescued 35 children. The children were provided with the necessary aftercare resources to begin their healing process.

In addition, this ICAC team was able to provide assistance in 337 cases to other ICAC task forces and law enforcement agencies. 8 trainings were also provided to Utah law enforcement officers.

We are honored to support the dedicated efforts of Utah ICAC to make a real difference in Utah. Because of the good work of these law enforcement teams, countless children will never be abused because more s*xual predators have been caught and arrested.
