Reminder we are NOT meeting tonight 9/4/26.
Take a break from all your labor.

We are thankful for your many efforts and work with us this summer to be well prepared.

So much has happened since we saw you last. For example the amount of supplies carefully packed in suitcases and taken across the ocean and distributed.

At our first fall gathering, we look forward to sharing pieces and impacts of Danna’s time in Ethiopia. We will also work to prep and restock pads and liners.

We hope to see you NEXT month for October First Friday.

This weekend holds World Refugee Day & Juneteenth

Still so much work to be done to move towards all communities experiencing joy of body, mind, and soul amidst this broken world

A reminder of those seeking to take up safe space and refuge

A call for others to step up to offer dignity and genuine care with support and solutions

May we be people who offer protection and tranquility that allows for thriving new life

May we treat other humans with the understanding of need for access to hope and respect and safety we desire

Miracles amidst Mango Trees

May this be our prayer.
May we see miracles under the shade of the many trees in Gambella.
May there be healing, forgiveness, and peace that passes all understanding.

Before closing out the year and celebrating Christmas and Jesus as the reason for long-lasting hope, we draw attention to the growth of our new connections in a beloved region in Ethiopia.

Arrangements were made for learning to happen at the Omaha Lied Transplant Center observing methods of patient education, which will be applied to women's health initiatives in Gambella.
We are so grateful to the UNMC instructors, staff, doctors ( especially Transplant Program Manager Nancy Theis ) who shared their time and knowledge with our special guests.

We are also thankful to the donors of medical necessities that were able to be packed and sent several weeks ago.
The supplies and a new partnership have been taken home to Gambella.
We are relieved at their safe arrival amidst upheaval. Dr. Tut and CEO Ruon work in leadership at Gambella Town Primary Hospital.
We are deeply saddened by the ethnic tensions that have emerged and affected the peace process in the area. We continue to pray that stability will return soon.

Gospel Partners Danna and Emily from Pads4Pupils recently provided crucial hygiene education to over 1,000 students and teachers in Kenya, leaving a lasting impact that local chiefs are eager to expand into more schools. Your support is enabling us to make significant strides in spiritual and practical outreach, sowing seeds of the Gospel that will resonate for generations. Thank you for making this work possible and for continuing to invest in these vital efforts!

Our “FIRST FRIDAYS” with 🩸Pads4Pupils successfully launched 2 weeks ago!

Faithful volunteers joined at FBC for a womens working fellowship time.
Especially powerful was Danna vision-casting for future efforts, as well as highlighting pieces from the recent Kenya trip. Updates of empowerment and provision offer such encouragement of impact being made.

What a wonderful time to connect with one another, trace pads, cut liners, sort fabric and see face-to-face progress.

We’re hosting our next “First Friday” on October 4th. It’s only 2 weeks from today, so this is your friendly reminder to get it on your calendar, and send in some questions or topics you’d like us to share about during our monthly event.
