Last Wednesday, Carson and Andy departed for the 2026 National Scout Jamboree, joining thousands of Scouts from across the country for an unforgettable experience filled with adventure, leadership, service, and new friendships.

Everyone in Troop 383 is proud of you both for representing our troop and the Mid-America Council. We hope you’re having an incredible time making memories, tackling new challenges, and enjoying every opportunity the Jamboree has to offer.

Congratulations to Josh on completing his Eagle Scout Service Project! 🦅

Leading a team of Troop 383 Scouts, leaders, family, and friends, Josh successfully installed a Stations of the Cross prayer walk at Roncalli Catholic High School. His leadership and dedication created a lasting place for prayer and reflection that will serve the Roncalli community for years to come.

Last week was amazing week for Troop 383!

The week started with Scouts helping Miles complete his Eagle Scout project, followed by an evening of mini golf and fun with the troop. We also received exciting news that Carson successfully completed his Eagle Scout Board of Review and earned the rank of Eagle Scout. We wrapped up the week with a fantastic campout filled with campfires, fishing, advancement, and unforgettable memories.

What a weekend at Summit Lake near Tekamah! 🌅⛺

Scouts enjoyed amazing sunsets, star-filled skies, wildlife sightings, fishing, campfires, and outdoor adventure. They also worked on rank advancement, earned their Totin’ Chip, cooked meals, and made memories with friends.

On May 5th, bring your Cub Scouts and join Troop 383 for a fun hands-on night where we will build a simple catapult, launch a few projectiles, and get a feel for our troop. And since it will be Cinco De Mayo, we will celebrate with walking tacos.
