📢 Calling all cell phone users !! 📢

Starting today thru March 10th,
UNOATH is teaming up with FLEP to host a phone donation drive❕❕❕

All phones will be collected for victims of domestic abuse, physical and sexual assault, and human trafficking. These phones will be used for calling 911 and all emergencies. Distributions will be through the Women’s Center for Advancement and Douglas County Victims Assistant Unit.

Ask parents, grandparents, cousins and everyone you know if they have any old phones.

‼️These phones must be able to make calls and in working conditions (if possible, charger included)‼️

Donation boxes are found:
📍Outside CPACS 132D
📍UNO Bookstore (at register)
📍Criss Library (2nd floor front desk)
📍Mavigation Station (Milo Bail)

This is a very interesting video to learn more about labor trafficking around the world and more importantly right where you shop. Go take a look!

Many companies we all shop from are selling products that have been made by labor slaves. In this video below you will see where these slaves are from and what famous companies we buy products from are within the Human Trafficking business themselves. It is places like Forever 21, Macy's, Target, and brands like Hersheys or Nestle. We all have bought their products or consume their goods but we don't know where they come from and who made the product. This will open your eyes on what goes on behind the scene!

The heat map shows you how much trafficking occurs along side of the I-80. As shown on the picture we notice that every city surrounding the I-80 is affected. The red spots are showing us where it occurs the most which Omaha is a very big one as seen on the map. Our communities in Omaha have been affected just as much as others! Make sure to be aware of the human trafficking heat map and if you see something, say something! -80
