Later this summer, we'll open the doors to Omaha's first dedicated grief center — and it's only possible because of the community that helped build it 🤍

Today, we're celebrating Give Nebraska for being part of that journey.

Through Give Nebraska, we've been able to connect with supporters who believe that no one should have to grieve alone. Every gift helps expand access to grief support, education, and community for those navigating loss.

Thank you, Give Nebraska, for helping make this exciting new chapter possible. We're grateful to have you alongside us as we bring this vision to life.

Things are getting real around here 🌟

This week, our Board of Directors toured the new grief center and got a glimpse of what's taking shape. Between the finishing touches and furniture almost unpacked, we're officially in the "it's actually happening" stage.

Thank you to these leaders who have helped guide, champion, and believe in this vision every step of the way.

We can't wait to open our doors later this summer and welcome you into this beautiful new home 🤍

When a teen is grieving, finding support can feel complicated.

Camp Hope offers something different: a place where teens can connect with others who understand loss, while enjoying all the things that make camp memorable.

Throughout the weekend, campers will participate in outdoor activities, team-building experiences, creative grief activities, and camp traditions - with others who "get it". It's a space where they don't have to explain their grief and can simply be themselves ⛺

📅 August 29 + 30, 2026
📍 Camp High Hopes in Sioux City, IA
👥 For bereaved teens ages 12-18
💙 Free to attend - transportation, food and lodging included

As Kari wraps up her Social Work internship with us, we’re celebrating the compassion, growth, and care she brought to our bereaved community 🌟

Throughout her time here, we’ve had the joy of watching her grow in confidence while co-facilitating support groups and showing up thoughtfully for grieving individuals and families.

Kari, thank you — we can’t wait to see all the ways you continue to care for others in the future 💜

We remembered together 🤍

On Saturday, our community gathered at our 28th annual Remembrance Day to honor the people we carry with us.

Thank you to every person who showed up, shared space, spoke names, and helped remind one another that grief does not have to be carried alone.

Thank you for remembering with us 🕯️

💭 Thinking about celebrating Memorial Day weekend with us at Remembrance Day?

We know showing up to grief events can feel vulnerable, emotional, awkward, comforting ... sometimes all of the feelings all at once. So here’s a little peek at what the day will actually feel like.

Expect meaningful activities, space to recharge, good food, community connection, and plenty of room to participate however feels right to you.

No pressure. No perfect way to grieve. Just a community showing up for one another.

We’d love to welcome you at Remembrance Day on May 23 🤍

It takes a community to hold space for grief well🤍

Events like Remembrance Day are only possible because of the incredible people behind them. To our sponsors, volunteers, partners, and supporters: we see you, and we’re honored to hold space for loss together.

🕯️And a special thank you to Cox, the leading sponsor of Remembrance Day 2026!

There’s still time to join us on May 23 🤍
