Last weekend Troop 770 camped out with Pack 395 at Camp Cedars and learned all about orienteering and map based navigation. The scouts were given coordinates which the plotted on a USGS map and then navigated to these points with maps and compasses. The scouts were rewarded at each point with a cache of s’mores supplies. After each group found their bag of graham crackers, marshmallows and chocolate they headed back to camp for their well earned reward! Special thanks to Pack 395 for an awesome weekend!

Monday evening we had our spring Court of Honor which saw most scouts receiving merit badges or rank promotions. The Troop also recognized Scoutmaster Tom St. Germain for his excellent leadership. We are proud of all the accomplishments these young men have earned and are excited as they continue on the path toward Eagle!
