Meet Father Bishoy! Father Bishoy is a priest at St. Mary and St. George Coptic Orthodox Church of Nebraska and is working to strengthen his English language skills.

One exciting milestone in his journey? He's shared that he's starting to think in English! 🥹 This is such a meaningful step in language learning, showing how the language is becoming a more natural part of everyday life.

At Learning for ALL, we're proud to support learners as they build their skills, grow their confidence, and work toward their goals. Every learner's journey looks a little different, and we're grateful to be part of theirs!

Yesterday, we celebrated the first day of Q4 classes! 🎉

We’re thrilled to welcome both new and returning students to our classrooms, where they’ll build their English skills, strengthen their reading and writing, and grow their confidence in conversation.

To our instructors and volunteers: thank you for creating classrooms where our students can learn, grow, and connect with one another. Your time and dedication make such a difference.

And to all of our students: we’re so happy you’re here. We’re excited to learn alongside you and can’t wait to see all that this quarter brings!

“Raining cats and dogs” means that it’s raining very heavily — and no, there aren’t actually any animals falling from the sky! ☔️

📚 Back-to-school season isn’t just for kids.

Walking into a classroom again as an adult can take courage. Maybe you’re 25. Maybe you’re 45. Maybe you’re 65+. Wherever you are in life, deciding to keep learning is something worth celebrating.

Whether you’re working toward your GED, strengthening your reading skills, or taking the next step toward a personal goal, you belong in the classroom.

This September, we’re celebrating the courage it takes to start, restart, and keep going.

Think about everything you've read today . A text. A prescription label. A road sign. Reading shapes how we move through daily life — and not everyone gets to do it with confidence.

That's why we run a 1:1 Adult Reading Support Program, matching volunteer tutors with adults working to build their reading and writing skills. And it's part of why literacy is so central to our ESL and GED programs too! Confidence with English opens up everyday life.

No need to create a curriculum from scratch. We provide instructional support and curriculum to help you feel prepared and confident in the classroom.

Happy Women’s Equality Day! 💜

At Learning For All, we know that equitable access to education can open doors far beyond the classroom.

Women make up 64.5% of the learners we serve, and through our programs, we see how building literacy and language skills can help women grow their confidence, strengthen their independence, pursue new employment opportunities, and open new pathways for themselves and their families.

Education is more than learning a new skill. It's having the tools and confidence to navigate everyday life, pursue new goals, and create new opportunities.
