Happy Women’s Equality Day! 💜

At Learning For All, we know that equitable access to education can open doors far beyond the classroom.

Women make up 64.5% of the learners we serve, and through our programs, we see how building literacy and language skills can help women grow their confidence, strengthen their independence, pursue new employment opportunities, and open new pathways for themselves and their families.

Education is more than learning a new skill. It's having the tools and confidence to navigate everyday life, pursue new goals, and create new opportunities.

This Women’s Equality Day, we're proud to support the women in our community as they continue learning, growing, and building their futures.

Last week, our very own Courtney French Baughman and Nicole Partusch had the opportunity to present at the Greater Omaha Chamber's Employer Coalition and share practical insights on how employers can support English Language Learners in the workplace.

Creating more inclusive workplaces starts with understanding the unique needs of employees and finding ways to make communication, learning, and success more accessible. We are so grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this important conversation and to share what we've learned through that work.

Thank you to all who attended and thank you to the Greater Omaha Chamber for having us!

Meet Sarah Kwapnioski, one of our incredible LFA tutors!

Our volunteer tutors play such an important role in helping adult learners build new skills and confidence. They bring patience, encouragement, and a willingness to meet learners where they are. We’re so grateful for everything they do.

Thank you, Sarah, for sharing your time and talents with Learning For All! 💚

English and literacy skills show up in so many parts of everyday life. 💜

From understanding instructions at work and completing important forms to reading to a child, talking with a healthcare provider, or connecting with other parents—every skill matters.

That's why our programs at Learning For All are designed with real life in mind. We want our learners to feel supported not only in the classroom, but in the many moments where these skills make a difference.

For so many of our adult learners, LFA is more than a classroom. We're a safe landing place where people can learn, grow, and thrive.
