You're invited! Please join us on February 6th for a SKI HISTORY DAY hosted by the SNOW Sports Museum in partnership with Sugar Bowl Resort. Ski History Day is a special small-group experience offering a memorable winter morning and afternoon spent exploring historic terrain, diving into stories from the early days of California skiing, and connecting with the people preserving this heritage for future generations. Join us Saturday, April 12th at the SNOW Sports Museum (inside Boatworks Mall, Tahoe City) for a full day of community, Olympic history, and celebration! 🥇

We’re unveiling a model of the historic Blyth Arena, paying tribute to the 1960 Winter Olympics right here in Tahoe—and looking ahead to the 2026 Games in Cortina! 🇺🇸➡️🇮🇹

The Snow Sports Museum is now open at the Boatworks Mall in Tahoe City! Take a walk through ski history with legendary artifacts, photos, and stories from the Auburn Ski Club’s Western SkiSport Museum, plus the 10th Mountain Division, Longboard Racing, and the evolution of Sierra ski areas.

Don’t miss our 1960 Winter Olympics exhibit- packed with personal memorabilia and rare items from the Games that put Tahoe on the global map.

Exciting Opportunity: Marketing Consultant & Event Planner

The SNOW Sports Museum at the Boatworks Mall in Tahoe City is seeking a passionate and skilled professional to help bring Sierra ski and snow sports history to life!

🗓️ Short-Term, Flexible Role
Create a 2025 community awareness strategy.
Plan and promote the unveiling of a historically significant Blyth Arena and Olympic Park model.
Coordinate events, partnerships, and promotional campaigns.

💼 Who We’re Looking For:
Someone with a passion for snow sports and Sierra history.
Strong ties to the North Lake Tahoe community and marketing/event planning experience.
💰 Compensation: $3,000 stipend (independent contractor role).
