Help Us Send Local Students Back to School Ready to Learn! 🎒

The Junior League of Olympia is proud to support the Little Red Schoolhouse Project by collecting new school supplies for students in our community. Every notebook, backpack, box of crayons, and pack of pencils helps a child begin the school year with confidence and the tools they need to succeed.

Most-needed items include:
🖍️ Crayola crayons (24-count)
✏️ Ticonderoga pencils
📓 Composition & graph notebooks
📏 Rulers
🖊️ Crayola markers & colored pencils
🧴 Elmer's glue sticks
✂️ Fiskars scissors
🎒 New backpacks
💝 Monetary donations are also welcome!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us on July 18 for our quarterly William Ives Trail cleanup! 🌿

Did you know that the Junior League of Olympia helps maintain a local trail? Since 2023, JLO has proudly adopted the William Ives Trail in Lacey. It's a beautiful, family-friendly, and accessible 2.6-mile trail that winds through the Meridian Campus community. Our Community Impact Committee organizes quarterly maintenance days to keep it safe, welcoming, and beautiful.

Thank you to our dedicated volunteers for giving back in such a meaningful way and helping create an outdoor space where our community can connect with nature, stay active, and support mental well-being. We love making a lasting impact—one trail at a time!

Join Junior League of Olympia on Saturday July 18th from 10am to 12pm for a quick nature hike and trail clean up! Message us to let us know you’re coming or if you have any questions!

William Ives Trail is a short, flat neighborhood trail. The trail is an easy walk and we always have a great time chatting along the way. Feel free to bring kids, friends, dogs - all are welcome!
We will meet at the trailhead at William Ives Trail. Park in the Meridian Park lot. We have trash grabbers. Please bring trash bag(s), small hedge clippers and garden gloves.
