Olympia Cub Pack 266 We're Cub Scout Pack 266, serving youth & families in since 1959 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. And for your family, too.

If you’re a boy in first grade through fifth grade – or 7 to 11 years old—then Cub Scouting can be a lot of fun and adventure for you. We are one of the longest-serving Cub Scout groups in SW Washington, delivering a quality youth program to boys and their families continuously since 1959. A Scout is reverent...

Your scout has an opportunity to participate in Scout Sunday on Feb. 2 at 9 a.m. at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd.

What is Scout Sunday?
A voluntary annual event where scouts are invited to participate in their home church’s service. At the pack level, scouts get a special patch.

Participating scouts have various roles in the service, from door-greeter, handing out programs, ushering, carrying candles, reading, and drumming (no musical experience required). Check your email for how to sign up.

We're getting excited for the Pinewood Derby this Saturday at our regular meeting location! Here are some important details:

Timeline:
Cars must be checked in at 1 p.m.
Races start at 1:30 p.m.
Final races around 4 p.m.

Categories: Scout Spirit, Funniest, Patriotic, Nature-Inspired, Most Detailed, and Best in Show

Rules: Car cannot weigh more than 5 ounces
Car length cannot exceed 7 inches
Car width (with the wheels attached!) cannot exceed 2 3/4 inches. These specifications will all be checked upon check-in at the church.

Good luck, Scouts! And don't forget, wear your Class A uniform.

The Cub Scouts experienced a monumental 2024 – and the future is bright! As we enter the new year, we reflect on all the blessings in the last 12 months – and, simultaneously, gear up for the incredible adventures ahead.

As always, we’re resolved to prepare young people to make ethical and moral decisions by teaching them the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law. This will never change!

Here’s to all the memories from 2024 – AND all the memories we’ll make in 2025 (and beyond!). If you're feeling up for it, leave one of your favorite memories from 2024 in the comments section!
